How and when did you start skating? Its been so long since I started that I cant remember, ha ha. All I know is I've been skating for nearly 20 years.
Who were you skating with at first? At first i was hangin about with a few kids that live close by just rollin' around like, then we heard of this shop with a ramp in and went there, met Brad (Garner) and (Pete) Helicar and that lot. They were so good even then!
What terrain were you riding at first? A little bit of street but mainly the ramp in Rollersnakes. It was about 2 years after starting that I found out about the market square.
Who were some early influences on your skating? Mainly Helicar, (Alan) Rushbrook, Shippo, Bainsy and Dino (Squilinio).
What do you think of skate videos? I just got into watchin them again and feel like a kid when I see a new one, you know like getting exited and that.
Which are your favorites? Public Domain has gotta be No.1 for me. The street skating with (Ray) Barbie was just insane at the time, ha ha. But recent ones, I gotta say, Really Sorry and Fully Flared for the variety of styles that are all so good.
Do you enjoy shooting video parts? Yeah, love it!
Do you skate small stuff like curbs and parking bumps? All the time, it's my comfort zone.
Do you skate vert? I can but havent for a while, been thinking about getting my pads out again haha.
What do you think of public skateparks? They have been a long time comming and they're somewhere to skate where you dont get kicked out.
Should skateparks copy real street spots like Love Park and EMB? I think some should but not all, we all should want to skate everything not just blocks and stairs.
How did you get on Unabomber? I got asked.
Who do you skate with now? I mainly skate with some Notts kids now. Will, Ryan, Adam and Phil, they're all cool kids and real good too!
Who are your favorite skaters of all time? Too many to list really, Danny Way, Penny, Carl Shipman and Biebel to name a few.
What have been the things you've enjoyed most about skateboarding so far? Making friends and travelling and that feeling you get when ya land that new trick, cant beat it!
Is there anything in skateboarding you haven't done that you'd like to accomplish? Loads yeah, but wont get into it now I would be here all day!
What do you enjoy besides skating? Cars, music and drinkin.
What music, art and books have you been enjoying lately? Been listening to Game a lot lately, but i'm waiting for the new Eminem album to hit, his new track is so good.
What are your future goals? To stay on my board a bit more and not feel as old as i am, and to keep skating as much as possible. Wouldn't mind having my own board co one day or at least a shop...
